Ryan has been a contributor to Racing Refresh since December 2024. His passion for cars and racing began at a young age, sparked by his fascination with Top Gear and its special segments featuring Formula 1 drivers competing in an old Suzuki Liana. Ryan is also an avid sim racer who dreams—perhaps overly ambitiously—of one day showcasing his talents on the grand stage of a real racing track.

Ryan has degrees in Human Physiology and Older Adult Aging, and works as a drug and alcohol counsellor for youth. He lives in Vancouver where he enjoys running along the seawall.
