The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli wrapped up Round 2 of the 2023 season over the weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park. The track lived up to its reputation of being difficult to to pass throughout the weekend. The action kicked off Saturday with The Big Machine Vodka SPIKED Coolers TA2 race. 14-year-old Brent Crews took the top spot on the podium. He fended off multiple challengers including Rafa Matos but, NOLA Motorsports Park's narrow passing lanes gave Crews enough of a cushion to maintain the lead. The win on Saturday was already the 4th win of Crews’s career.

The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli took the main stage at NOLA on Sunday with TrackHouse Racing owner Justin Marks leading the field to green. Marks had trouble early and locked up his tires and took himself out of contention for the win. Chris Dyson was able to take the lead and was unstoppable from there. Dyson’s win on Sunday was the 20th win of his career, which ties with Ron Fellows at 6th all-time on the TA wins list. CD Racing was able to bring home a 1-2 finish with Matthew Brabham placing second. Justin Marks bounced back from his early issues to round out the podium. The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli returns March 23-26th at Road Atlanta with flag-to-flag coverage taking place on the series’ Youtube Page!
