Happy Saturday everyone!  This weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series travels to Atlanta, Georgia for the Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Atlanta is a 1.54-mile quad-oval track that races like a Super Speedway.  Opening in 1960, the first NASCAR winner was Fireball Roberts that same year.

Tomorrow’s race will be 260 laps long (for a total of 400.4 miles), with stage breaks occurring at 60 – 160 – 260.  The fuel window is between 73-78 laps, though tire wear could shorten the length of green flag runs.  Pit road speed is 90mph in sections 1 and 2, then 45mph after that.  The caution vehicle runs at 55 mph.

As this is the 2nd race of the year, and 21 drivers finished on the lead lap last race, those drivers have completed 100% of the 502.50 miles run so far.
