Speedway Children’s Charities Atlanta Grants $100,000 to Local Children’s Organizations

Press Release | ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY

This morning Speedway Children’s Charities distributed $100,000 in grants to local non-profits championing children’s causes in metro Atlanta and Georgia.

All told 35 organizations received funds during SCC Atlanta’s annual Grant Distribution Ceremony held in Club One at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Recipients will use these grants to address a variety of needs from kids in our area, from providing housing to those in crisis, to providing meals for the hungry, to cancer support and so much more.

“Today’s grant ceremony is what Speedway Children’s Charities and our volunteers work all year for,” said SCC Atlanta Chapter Director Kathy Bradley. “Thanks to those efforts and the generosity of our supporters, each of the non-profits receiving grants today are getting a boost for their life-changing efforts that benefit children in need.”

Each year, SCC Atlanta holds fundraisers in conjunction with AMS events, such as its two NASCAR Cup Series race weekends. The charity also raises funds through standalone initiatives like the annual Kids Win Golf Tournament, the Kids Win Clay Shoot, and unique experiences at the speedway such as Laps for Charity.

Including SCC Atlanta, Speedway Children’s Charities has local chapters at 11 Speedway Motorsports facilities making a positive impact on children across the country. In 2024 alone, those chapters have delivered more than $4 million to non-profits that directly impact children in need. Since the charity’s inception in 1982, Speedway Children’s Charities has granted more than $72 million to non-profit organizations nationwide.
