2025 Hopes and Expectations
After the announcement of the closure of Stewart-Haas Racing, it was reported that Gene Haas was going to hang on to one charter and run it full-time in the Cup Series. Cole Custer just came off an impressive season in the Xfinity Series, where he nearly won back-to-back championships. Custer does have a single win at the Cup Series level, though it was at Kentucky – a track no longer on the schedule. There are a lot of questions about how competitive this ride can be, but it’s Custer’s turn to show he belongs in the Cup Series this time.
