Updated: Mar 5, 2023

LAS VEGAS -- Kyle Busch, the Las Vegas native who won the PALA Casino 400 at Auto Club Speedway last week, topped the charts for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series qualifying session and earned the victory hours later.

Busch led the field to green and the checkered flag in the No. 51 Zariz Transport Chevrolet for Kyle Busch Motorsports after posting the top qualifying lap of 30.222 at 178.678 mph for the Victoria’s Voice 200 presented by Westgate Resorts, making the Las Vegas wheelman still eligible to sweep the weekend in his hometown.

This win is his 63rd victory in 166 Craftsman Truck Series races and his fourth victory and seventh top-10 finish in seven races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Busch will start Saturday’s Xfinity Series Alsco Uniforms 300 outside of the top-10 qualifiers in eleventh, piloting the No. 10 LA Golf Chevrolet for Kaulig Racing.

The first family of Las Vegas motorsports will add to the family legacy on Saturday, March 4th when Brexton Busch makes his West Coast Bandolero debut in the Bash at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
