After the wet and wild Indianapolis Grand Prix, thirty-three drivers have taken on the legendary banked turns in preparation for the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
On Monday, there were three different practice sessions but the most important was FP2 as it was later in the day with the weather being mostly in the range for what we would see later in the month on race day.
Two-Time Indianapolis 500 winner, Takuma Sato led in FP2 with a lap that came just shy of breaking the 229 MPH barrier. There are seven rookies in the field for the 500 with Seven-Time NASCAR Cup champion Jimmie Johnson leading the way as he placed himself third on the time chart.
