ICYMI: NASCAR Debating Rotating Championship Race in 2026

NASCAR is considering rotating its Championship race to different locations starting in 2026, moving beyond Phoenix Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway. NASCAR CEO Steve O’Donnell mentioned discussions about other markets, including Las Vegas Motor Speedway, while acknowledging Phoenix’s success with seven consecutive sellouts and favorable weather. The goal is to broaden the championship's appeal and support playoff growth. The 2025 season will still conclude at Phoenix, so any changes wouldn’t happen before 2026. We’re excited about the potential for variety and would love to hear what you think about this idea!
