CHARLOTTE (January 30, 2023) — The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli and the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) are pleased to announce new partnerships with BridgeHaul and the Bennett Family of Companies. The new agreement names BridgeHaul as the Official Safe, Reliable, On-Demand Shipping Company of Trans Am and SVRA, and the Bennett Family of Companies as the Official Trucking Company of Trans Am and SVRA.

Atlanta-based BridgeHaul is a provider of third-party logistics and technology solutions to shippers and motor carriers. Founded in 2015 and acquired by the Bennett Family of Companies in 2022, BridgeHaul takes a modern approach to transportation management to automate the planning and execution process for all stakeholders across the supply chain. With services such as managed freight and freight brokerage, technology solutions to improve fleet management, and carrier services like a Fuel program and Freight Factoring, BridgeHaul aims to empower businesses to run more efficiently, increase savings, and accelerate earnings.

Based outside Atlanta in McDonough, Georgia, the Bennett Family of Companies is a woman-owned, Women’s Enterprise Business Council (WBENC) certified, diversified transportation and logistics company with 5,000 driver/owner-operators, 1,000 employees and 600 agents across the United States. Through its 14 affiliated operating companies, the Bennett Family of Companies delivers integrated transportation and supply chain management solutions worldwide.

“We are extremely happy to join forces with BridgeHaul and the Bennett Family of Companies,” said Tony Parella, CEO of Trans Am and SVRA. “Both companies have supported our competitors in the past, including our 2022 TA2 champion Thomas Merrill. Trucking, shipping and the logistics industries keep our race series, competitors and country going. We’re very proud to make them official partners.”

“We are excited to partner with the Trans Am Series and SVRA. We believe there are a host of synergies we can benefit from and we’re thrilled to enter the partnership,” said Danny Lowry, Vice President and owner of the Bennett Family of Companies. “We enjoyed the experience last year at the car-sponsorship level, but believe the elevated sponsorship with Trans Am and SVRA will draw additional awareness to our brand and extend our reach to new customer segments.”

Lowry is also a driver in multiple Trans Am classes, winning the Pro/Am SGT championship in 2022.

"Racing is an exciting sport to be around, from the paddock, to the pit box, to TV coverage, we are looking forward to building fans amongst truck drivers, fleets and business owners who have freight shipment needs,” Lowry continued. “You won't be able to miss Bennett and BridgeHaul in 2023."

The 2023 season for the Trans Am Series and SVRA kick off at Sebring International Raceway on February 23-26.
