It was "NASHCAR" weekend in Music City - Nashville, Tennessee.
Denny Hamlin won the pole and brought the field to the start of the Ally 400 alongside Joey Logano.
Problems would occur early for Hendrick Motorsports. Alex Bowman brought out the caution with heavy damage after hitting the wall, and William Byron had a mechanical issue. Both would find themselves in the garage in Stage 1.
Martin Truex Jr. got a great restart on lap 65, taking over the lead from Hamlin and would hold on for the stage 1 win.
Logano and Truex led the start of stage 2.
Two seperate red flags came out for both lightning, and rain poured down over the track.
The race resumed at lap 151 with Hamlin leading Truex on the restart.
The two of them battled back and forth during the entire stage but it was Truex on top to win Stage 2.
Truex led teammate Kyle Busch to the start of the third and final stage on lap 191.
Chase Elliott took the lead from Kyle Busch with 55 laps to go.
After enduring multiple restarts within the final 50 laps, Elliott fended off Kurt Busch to win the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
